His focus areas for BCG’s Fortune 500 clients are in global brand management & marketing, product development and launch, national sales team leadership, and international franchise system development, operations & support. Kevin’s innovative brand, sales and operational strategies have garnered international media attention, which includes his profile in Lodging Magazine, one of the most distributed hospitality trade magazine in the world.
His executive credentials include being a division president for Choice Hotels International® (NYSE:CHH), which is one of the largest hospitality companies in the world. At Choice, he was responsible for franchised brands that have over 3,000 properties in 39 countries, $2.1 billion in revenue and over 25,000 employees. He built a reputation as a brand visionary and thought leader for the organization, a dynamic team builder, and a turnaround expert.
In addition to his public company experience, Mr. Bradt also has top tier private equity-backed startup experience. He was an early innovator in cloud computing at a technology startup. There he created and patented a commercial banking application, MH2Finance®. This application was a major component used to raise over $100 million in private equity funding from one of the largest private equity firms in the world, Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, (HM Capital Partners).
Among Mr. Bradt’s other accomplishments include creating and launching international franchise brands. This includes The Ascend Collection®, a global upscale hotel brand at Choice. He was responsible for the global hotel chain’s concept creation, operational launch and ongoing brand management strategy. The chain is now over 70 hotels globally and is the strongest performing brand in the Choice Hotels portfolio, leading the company’s performance in RevPAR, (revenue per available room), and guest satisfaction ratings. Mr. Bradt also has a strong background in technology development and product management. He was the lead on many major strategic technology initiatives at Choice including the redesign of choicehotels.com®, once the world’s #1 most visited branded hotel website and the launch of choiceADVANTAGE®, the hospitality industry’s largest web-based property management system with over 5,000 installs globally, and accelerating the franchise sales lead generation process with the creation of choicehotelsfranchise.com.
Prior to Choice, Bradt held a variety of marketing and operational leadership positions for major lodging companies, technology startups, and Nike.
Bradt is a member of the American Marketing Association, (AMA) and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago, and his Masters in Marketing and Finance from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business. He also received an executive certification in Global Enterprise Management from Oxford University.
